Right after getting his first Pokemon, Bulbasaur, he headed over to the casino to spend the money he found in his pocket. The entire way Bulbasaur stuck by his side, trying to figure out how to get his trainer to give him more treats. Sighing Reider looked down to his Bulbasaur and smiled before pulling out his pokeball, "Bulbasaur return!" To his surprize his Pokemon refused to listen to him. Clenching his teeth he ordered his Pokemon away again. "Bulbasuar, RETURN!" Yet again the Bulbasaur did not return into his pokeball.

"Bulba!" the stubborn Pokemon exclaimed before turning his back to his trainer.

The frustrated trainer shrugged and returned the empty pokeball to his belt. "Fine then, stay out here Bulbasaur. I'll be back in a few." Heading towards the door, he looked back to see his Bulbasaur ignoring his master's half threat. Shaking his head Reider went inside and left his companion to play by himself outside.

Inside he sat down at a table of Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors and rubbed his chin before betting 10 coins. Right across from him was the dealer of the table, and on the table were three cards. Staring at the cards he didn't take too long to pick the one on the right.

Outside his beloved Bulbasaur sat at the side of the casino's door watching intently for his trainer to return. He now regretted his decision to not go with his master, but he still did not want to admit it. Watching as the people came in and out, the Bulbasaur soon grew tired and laid down, eyes glued to the door.

The dealer gave the player a quick nod, and waited for him to pick, which didn't take long. The player picked the Squirtle card. Smiling the dealer picked the one on the left.

Drawing a Squirtle card he studied the dealer intently as he drew the card on the left. It turned over to reveal a Charmander. "YES!" Reider exclaimed, excited about his small win. Eager to win again Reider nodded to the dealer and waited for him to set out three new cards. The task took no more than thirty seconds and Reider was again ready to pick his card.

Placing another 10 coins down, he licked his lips before picking the one in the middle. His first game had went well and it left the 11 year old boy excited and eager to play more.

Outside his Pokemon continued to wait for him, but the smell of something new and interesting made him leave his post. Venturing to the side of the casino the, now curious, Bulbasaur searched for the Pokemon he smelt. "Bul?" Spotting a small brown mass he crept closer, maybe if he found something interesting for his master he would give him more treats.

Awarding the player 20 coins, he smiled. "Beginner's Luck.." Nodding, the dealer set up the table again. When the middle card was flipped to reveal a Charmander the dealer picked the card on the left yet again.

He smirked as the dealer commented on his skill. When he flipped his card it revealed a Charmander. Slightly nervous he watched as the dealer flipped the left card again, this time to reveal a Bulbasaur. "HAHAHAHA! Its not luck, its pure skills." Smirking he took his coins and then placed 20 down.

Not long after the cards were set up again and he picked the middle card yet again. He was ready to play and losing wasn't even a thought.

Bulbasaur poked the brown mass and was startled by a sobbing pokemon's cry. "SWIIIN!!" A moderate sized Swinub frantically clung to the Bulbasaur's face. The now frightened Bulbasaur freaked out and ran into the casino and headed towards his master, jumping up onto his lap. "SAUR SAUR!"

The player's card was a Bulbasaur. Picking the card on the right, the dealer was just able to flip it before a pair of Pokemon came in and crashed the game. Luckily the Pokemon did not disrupt the cards.

Frowing the dealer shook his head before responding to the situation. "Sir I'm going to have to ask you to take your coins and leave please."

The dealer was just able to turn his card, a Bulbasaur, before Ethan's Pokemon came crashing onto his lap, crying in fright. Clenching his teeth Reider shot up, sending both Pokemon into the table. Coins fell and scattered onto the floor, and Reider began to talk through the sides of his mouth. "Bulbasaauuur!"

Hearing the dealer's request Reider took the remaining coins off the table and then picked the coins off the floor. Silently he counted them, counting a much higher number than he had originally won. Instead of 20 coins he was instead carrying 100 coins. Quick on his feet Reider stuffed the coins in his case before grabbing the two Pokemon and heading for the door. "Sorry, sorry!"

Before the dealer had the chance to say anything else Reider was out the door, and halfway down the street. Anger was boiling up inside of him and before he had the chance to do anything else he turned his attention to the Pokemon.

Tapping his foot the Trainer pulled the Swinub off of his Pokemon, revealing a Cherish Ball in the Swinub's mouth. Furious he took the ball from the small Pokemon and took out his Bulbasaur's ball and gave them both the command. "RETURN!" Swinub seemed to have no problem listening to his new master, and the frightened Bulbasaur was just happy to have the Swinub off of him so he obeyed as well.

Frowning the dealer went back to his table to set it up again, not noticing that the player made off with 80 extra coins.

Allowing himself a few minutes to calm down, Ethan looked down at the Cherish Ball and smirked. He wasn't sure how it happened but somehow he just got himself an extra Pokemon and 80 more coins than he was supposed to. Feeling pretty happy he sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

Perhaps now he should take his two new Pokemon out for a spin and see just how tough they are. Hopefully they wouldn't disappoint him, but so far his Bulbasaur, even though it was rather annoying, just helped him steal for the first time. Ready to battle the team headed off to Blu Plains.
