"No dad, I'm not going to get into trouble on the way there. Yes mom.. I remembered to pack my underwear." The young male grumbled at his parent's constant nagging, he understood why they did it but that did NOT mean he enjoyed it. In the background you could hear his parents ask him a bunch of questions, clenching his teeth Ethan rolled his eyes as he continued to pack his bag. He was finally ready to leave his parents, get his own Pokemon, and head off on an adventure.
Quickly he threw an extra pair of clothes in his backpack as well as the two potions and five pokeballs his mother had given him. Checking under his bed he sighed when he remembered he spent his stash a few days ago. Shrugging his shoulders he picked up his backpack and left his room, locking it behind him. As he walked into the living room he let out a small smile when he noticed the lunch his mother made him, as well as some food for later. Stuffing the food in his backpack he zipped it up and put it on. Taking a bite of his sandwich he yelled out to his parents with his mouth half full. "Kay I'm leaving now, BYE!" Swallowing the bite he took he opened the door and headed out, sandwich in hand.

It was now dark outside, the moon high in the sky. Yawning he put his key in the door and turned the knob. Immediately he was greeted by his mother, who was cooking dinner. "Hello honey, back already?" she giggled to herself. Clenching his teeth Ethan waved his hand, almost as if dismissing the thought. "I forgot my map in my room, I'll leave tomorrow." His mother rushed over to him and hugged him, "Don't worry honey, you can stay as long as you want!" Displeased Ethan pushed away from his mom, taking out his five pokeballs. He could already see the look of excitement on his mother's face. Smirking he threw the pokeballs, letting out his team. "Enjoy."
The boy went to his room, leaving his Pokemon behind to suffer from his mother's over loving attitude. He needed to think things over. Unlocking his door he shut it behind him, leaving it unlocked. Yawning he laid down on his bed, eyes searching the ceiling for answers. When he was at the Pokemon Center he noticed how many Pokemon there were, all of them helpless and weak. "Pathetic." He muttered, even though he knew his Pokemon needed to go there too. But just think, all those Pokemon there without their trainers. All he'd need to do is pose as staff and he'd be able to have his pick of the lot. It'd be an easy steal alright. Smirking he closed his eyes, imagining himself in the back room where all the pokemon were kept, taking all of the pokeballs and running. The only issue would be if he was caught and his identity revealed, he probably wouldn't be allowed to use Pokemon Centers ever again. Frowning he knew that it was too risky to try something like that, at least not yet. So what should he do?
Bored and slightly frustrated, Ethan grabbed the remote on his nightstand and turned on his tv. Flicking through the channels.

Downstairs his mother was frantically running around the kitchen, making a bunch of tasty treats for her son's Pokemon. She knew that he wouldn't have the time to make his Pokemon treats, so she had to do it if she wanted them to have something yummy to eat.
Bulbasaur, and Zizagoon were sitting quietly, watching as the woman ran back and forth with Swinub on her tail. Swinub was following closely behind her, it was amazing that she didn't trip on him, waiting for her to drop something so he could eat it. Meanwhile, Oddish and Rattata were playing with Ethan's father.
It didn't take long before the first batch of treats where finished. Happily Ethan's mom put the treats on a serving dish and placed it on the floor infront of the living room tv for the Pokemon to enjoy. Jokingly Ethan's dad whinned about his own food, "Honneeeyyyy, what about meee?"
Glaring at her husband it was obvious she wanted to finish the Pokemon's treats before finishing dinner, as it only took her a mere minute to finish the Pokemon's food.
After finishing their meal, the Pokemon sat around the tv lazily watching the news. However, Bulbasaur ventured upstairs searching for his master.
Upstairs Ethan found the Academy's channel and decided he might as well learn a little bit more about the school before heading there. Yawning he put down the remote and watched as the tv spoke about all the wonderful opportunities the school had.
Bulbasaur nudged the door to Ethan's room open, and slowly crept inside. "Bulba?" It asked, looking up at his master. Ethan looked down, squished his noise slightly, and then agreed, "Yeah come on." Excited the Bulbasaur jumped up on Ethan's bed, resting his head on his master's lap.

About thirty minutes later dinner was finished, by then all of the Pokemon were sleeping. After setting the table for herself and her husband, Mrs. Reider brought up her son's dinner.
Upon opening the door she discovered her son and his Bulbasaur passed out on his bed, the Academy Channel still on. Giggling she brought his dinner downstairs and put it in the fridge.
The next morning...
When Ethan woke up he saw a plateful of pancakes on his nightstand. Yawning he stretched out, accidentally knocking into Bulbasaur. "Buuullllbbaa," the Pokemon yawned, a bit dazed by the way he was woken up. "Sorry Bulbasaur." Rubbing his eyes he grabbed the top pancake and handed it to Bulbasaur, who ate it slowly. Ethan himself woofed down his breakfast. Upon finishing he went downstairs to discover the rest of his Pokemon had already finished eating.
"Goood Morning SON!" Ethan was greeted by a slap on the back by his father, and his mother's adoring face. ".........hi." He spoke through clenched teeth, covering up the pain he felt from that morning slap.
Grabbing his pokeballs, he called back all of his Pokemon. "Thanks mom, dad.. I'll be leaving now. See you later." He waved them off, before grabbing his bag. It seemed a lot heavier than when he got here... "I hope you don't mind I packed food for you and all your Pokemon! And don't forget---" Her words faded out as he put his back on and walked out the door. "Later."
