Once you have beaten the first Gym Leader you will be given permission to enter. The idea is to get to the top of the tower as fast as you can by battling through four levels of trainers. You'll get an item depending on the time taken. Your Pokemon will not be healed in between battles, but you can use items. However, you are able to return to the bottom floor and heal your Pokemon (but that wastes a lot of time). It is advised that you stock up on items before attempting the challenge. Your opponents' Pokemon will be the same level as the highest leveled Pokemon in your current party.

There are four modes to battling here: Normal, Variety, Unique, and Expert. The majority of the battles will be double battles, but occasionally you will get the chance to engage one of the trainers in a single battle.

All trainers will be played by staff, to keep from wasting your time they will simply reply with the moves/items used however you must reply as normal.
