Still think you got what it takes? Well let me tell you a little bit about those Gym Leaders of yours:
GYM LEADERS WILL
- Run their Gym according to their own rules, stated by a stickied post by the Gym Leader themselves.
- Specialize with a type, and have at least four in-gym Pokemon to fight trainers. (these Pokemon cannot level or change)
- Lose, just like anyone else.. they can lose.
- Take part in plots when asked.
- Start with a maximum of seven Pokemon, and a minimum of four.
GYM LEADERS CAN
- Keep up to two Apprentices to help them with their Gym duties.
- Have a personal team (which can change at any time) and a gym team (which cannot change in level, moves, or items held).
- May start with two personal Pokemon in their original profiles, but they cannot be higher than level 20.
- Participate in site-wide events, roleplay outside of their Gyms, and establish relationship outside the Gym.
- Assume they own all either Gym Badges, and level their off Pokemon up to level 100.
GYM LEADERS WILL NOT
- Neglect their gyms.
- Win too many battles (they are there to lose after all)
GYM LEADERS CAN NOT
- Challenge the Elite Four
- Challenge other Gym Leaders (unless its outside of the Gym, and with their personal Pokemon)
- Participate in contests
If a Gym Leader cannot be found, you may request staff to play as the Gym Leader's Substitute. The Substitute is the same for each Gym Leader, and only has one team of Pokemon, their levels only changing to fit the Gym's Pokemon levels.
